This is an excellent acoustic version of the great Lynyrd Skynyrd performing everyone’s favorite tune “Sweet Home Alabama”. We are posting it because we got user feedback for this tune. You report it we listen!

Below is what J. Bowden had to tell us about Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”. Now he likes the original version from 1974 and so do we. However, we are not sharing the original band’s version we are sharing a 2004 acoustic and we promise Mr. Bowden we will share the original in the future.

“My favourite song is Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd, of course, the 1974 song is the original and best version, ever. Throughout high school, college, further ed. and my adult life, this song has resonated with me. Remember the cigar that Will Smith saves in Independence Day? Well, when I’ve finished all my work for the day and I’m driving home, I sit back in my seat and play this on repeat for the whole journey. In my opinion the best rock song…ever.
